  2. Steve was a wonderful and intelligent man. He came up with an invention that started a whole new kind of technology that has taken over some parts of this world. He has made life in some areas, easier for people. His invention of the Ipod and Ipads, were genius. He made listening to music, getting on the internet, and anything else you can think of, possible on a little tablet you can bring with you or have in your pocket. His invention has changed this world. He will be greatly missed

  5. Steve Jobs broke down huge barriers for future technology. He was an incredible person that used his knowledge to create a revolutionary new product for the world to enjoy. He very well could be considered an "Einstein" of our generation. He forever changed our mindsets on music and computers while opening our minds to creative new possibilities.

  7. Steve Jobs was an extraordinary man who leaves behind an unmatched legacy. His out-of-the-box thinking changed society forever. Instead of paying millions to research teams, he went directly to the people; asked them what they wanted and from there enhanced the devices, making masterpieces. It wasn't about creating the next great invention (although in-advertantly he did), it was about making what we currently use better, faster, and cheaper. Our generation has lost a remarkable man.

  8. I think Steve Jobs was a great individual. He seemed like a guy that had his head on straight even though his is 7 billion dollars. Most people would go crazy with that kinda of money but he was very down to earth and seemed like he was just out to better society. He changed the world as we know it with his inventions he made life easier for us, and did things that not many men can do. He was a genius and it paid off for him he helped the world and helped himself. He was an extraordinary man and he will be greatly missed by the world.

  9. This guy was amazing!! I had no idea he did so much! I think that he was a genuine, smart, and kind person. He changed the whole outlook on technology and opened doors for many new things. I feel bad that he just stepped down from his job and now has passed away so fast but from what I understand he probably wouldn't have had it any other way. He was a very dedicated person and smart in keeping things private. He will be missed by many.

  11. Steve Jobs was an intelligent man whose products he designed were amazing. He was such an innovation and will be remembered for all time. Even though he was a perfectionist, his perfections lead to be worth while, developing so many ideas that became a reality and lead to other "copy cat" designs to come about. Apple will never be the same without Steve Jobs.

  12. Welp Steve Jobs was a stud. He made lots of money brought joy to lots of people and dropped out of college. Still baffles me he didnt go to college. I am thinking about dropping out because of him....well no not really. It was also really cool to find out he worked with atari. Anyways the tech world along with everyone else will surely miss Jobs and all his contributions.

  14. I had a feeling this would be the topic for discussion today. There's honestly just too much to talk about - he was so impossibly influential in so many facades of the tech industry. He wasn't just 'the guy who invented the iPod'. He change the way we interact with computers, the way we listen to music, how we watch movies. I write this from my MacBook, right before checking my iPhone. His impact in our lives is omnipresent whether we know it or not. He's behind the modern computing interface: the mouse, menus, folders, etc. He really did think differently and thank God he did. It just makes you think about how you're living your own life. Am I making a difference, am I changing things in a progressive manner?
It sounds really corny but he's the first notable person in society who I've really cared about in their passing. It's like when you here a celebrity has died or something, I've really never cared or felt anything, but with Jobs passing I was genuinely saddened. Apple's future is up in the air. I realize that it takes many talented people to produce the kind of impact that's synonymous with Apple, but honestly Jobs was the driving force behind most of Apples success.
I've followed his symposiums and press and his place in Apple for years. His speech at Stanford's 2005 graduation ceremony will change the way you think about your future and how you live your life. I only hope that I can make a fraction of difference in this world the way he has. Not only that, but I hope to live the rest of my life doing what I love to do, and not letting other people make decisions for me. Jobs was a self-made man who lived by those principles.

  15. Steve Jobs was an amazing and talented person. He started Apple out of his garage...how many people can do that? He knew exactly what people wanted and knew the right way to run his company and thats what made him successful. It takes a very smart and driven person to be able to drop out of college, and be worth 7 billion dollars at the time of his death. I remember when the iPhone came out, and on the news you would hear about people waiting in lines overnight just to be one of the first people to get the phone...and he still acted like a normal down to earth person after all of this! Steve Jobs was a genius and his contributions in technology will always be remembered.

  16. Steve Jobs was an innovator who paved the way for new technology. If you haven't noticed, he usually came out with a new piece of technology and then other companies began producing products similar to his, just to keep up with Apple. His inventions were revolutionary and will continue to thrive even after his passing.

  17. Steve Jobs was a great inventor. Many people could not even begin to think how to do some of the amazing things that he did with the software and hardware that he invented and distrubied. He was the one to figure out what graphics and cpu went great together so he would have the top of the line computer when it came down to the graphics and media arts and animation people (aka aritists). another great thing that he did was made a computer that was user friendly it may seem frighting at first but once you get on the computer and just play around with the os you become very efficianct at it.

  18. Steve Jobs was a very intellegent man who changed alot of things for the world. Steve Jobs made music, cell phone life, and the way we look at our computer technology as well. Steve Jobs was obviously like a genius to invent apple and keep it going, keep the ipod and ipad technology running and know all about it.

  19. Steve Jobs put the job in good job. Enough said.
Haha just kidding. Steve jobs was a true technological visionary and genius. Everything he did was pure gold. He was a very hard working individual and one of the greatest pioneers in the computer industry. He will always be remembered and will forever live on through his various innovations.

  20. Steve Job was a very intelligent man. I can't even imagine being that smart. He has put an impact in technology that will last forever. But like everyone else he was human and made some very unimpressive decisions in life. I really admire the man, but I was raised in a family based environment and to own up to your mistakes, so his life as a man was not very impressive, but as an inventor he was incredible.

  21. I can't believe he's dead. He contributed a lot to the world of technology and will forever be remembered. He really was a technology genius. He was the type of person who never settled for less. Everything he created really had to be perfect. He took that extra step and made a lot of things happen that people didn't think were possible. iPods and iPads are a huge part of society today. Apple in general is a huge part of everyone's lives. He'll definitely never be forgotten.

  23. Steve Jobs changed how people look at technology. He has come up with the new inventions that every technology company is looking to match. Although most companies never have come close to the perfection that Apple products have they give it a good shot. Who knows what Apple will do without him. All I know is that in Steve Jobs life time he changed how most of society uses at technology.

  24. Steve Jobs had an astounding influence on current technology. He has not only innovated many technological devices, but he has also acted as a mentor to his many employees. I think of him as a great historical figure and someone who technicians will look up to for many years to come.

  25. I think Steve Jobs was a visionary. He created so many new things that shaped the way people thought, and changed the way we looked at so many things. He changed the way we looked at music and phones, and he also contributed one of the first tablets. He gave the world so many things, and even hope since Steve himself was a drop out. It just goes to show that you don’t always have to spend thousands of dollars in schooling to make millions in the market. He changed the way technology and the technology market worked alike. He was a great man and will be forever remembered as the man that contributed some of the greatest inventions to this day.

  26. The life of Steve Jobs is amazing to me. He went from being a college dropout to being the CEO of a company valued at 7 billion. The way he had figured out how to market his products is pure genius, and i dont see anyone haveing the same influence on the consumer as him.

  27. Steve Jobs was a very smart man. He changed the way people used technology. The products he invented always had to be perfect and nothing less. Jobs made products that are very useful in our society today. I have a few things that he invented and I love them. They make life easier when you can bring your iPod anywhere. Steve Jobs will always be remembered in the technology world.

  28. Steve Jobs revolutionized much of the technology we used today; he created so many new products unlike any. He was brilliant and a perfectionist, his work was top quality. He will be remembered for his positive contributions to technology and the world in general. It is sad to lose such a brilliant man but I can say he did alot with his life and he will be greatly missed.
    RIP Steve Jobs

  29. I will never admire Steve Jobs. I don't think he was a great person at all. From what I know and what these articles say, Steve Jobs was a jerk. He was impulsive and selfish. You know what none of these four articles mentioned? Humanitarian work. I would just like to point that out. Those are some great achievements in life. What has Apple done for people other than drive the economy? He made poor decisions early in life (becoming and lying about being a father, cheating his friend out of $4k) and spent the rest of his life dealing with the consequences. Ultimately, he seemed to be a hypocrite. He demanded perfection to his ideal from everyone other than himself. Not to mention Steve Jobs didn't even work for MacIntosh/Apple for 10 years. Also, everyone acts like Steve Jobs did EVERYTHING. He made the product, he made the machines tick. No, Steve Jobs had ideas and told everyone else to figure out the mechanics. Being a figurehead is easy, working for one is the challenge.

  30. When I heard about the passing of Steve Jobs, I was very surprised as I did not know about his sickness. Owning an iPhone, and having a Macbook Pro in the family, made me really appreciate his contributions to technology. He was very innovative as wasn't scared to take a risk. Everything he did was A work and was never sub-par, like his competitors. I hope the Apple company will continue to progress, even without Steve Jobs.

  31. I think he was an amazing, intelligent, inventive man. He made one of the most important technology leaps in our time and most likely in the years to come. I didn't own many of his products but the ones i have ar amazing and i can't imagine not having them now. I was kind of shocked that he had done LSD and had so many children. The LSD does seem to make sense though. I've heard that it can open the mind to a new way of thinking and thats certainly what Steve Jobs did. I think he was a brave man and a man that blazed his own trail.

  32. When I heard that Steve Jobs had passed away it was extremely shocking. I had not known that he was ill and fighting cancer. Steve Jobs was a remarkable man whom I would have been honoured to meet. As an owner of an I phone 4 and a macbook pro, I'm very thankful that Steve took every risk that he did, in order to place technology where it is today. I can honestly say that I think today's world would be completely different if it hadn't been for Steve Jobs. My thoughts and prayers go to his wife and kids, and best wishes towards the company in the future.

  33. Steve Jobs.... The creator of Apple.. He will be missed.. will anyone be able to take his place?.. He left some pretty hard shoes to fill.. Coming out with the iDevice line.. I couldn't believe it when I heard the news I didn't even know he had health issues. It's sad he had to go right before everything was coming together in sense of his device line with the ipods and iphones.. Everything was just getting real quick and fast and becoming more and more like a futuristic device.. R.I.P Jobs

  34. Steve Jobs is the main reason that technology is at the point its at. He is the reason we are at touh screens and anything apple. Lots of things we use everyday like android phones, blackberrys came from his designs. Hopefully they can find someone that can at least do half the things he did..

  35. I think Steve Jobs was a revolutionary individual who will be held dear to our generation and revered like Einstein. He is a man who's genius is sorely missed because he created items people "need," not junk one buys on an info-mercial. I do not know if he really created anything that benefited society, I think he may have just simplified technology for most adults.
